About 1001 Paws
1001 PAWS is an international not-for-profit initiative, launched by the UK-based 1001 Foundation, aiming to help improve the wellbeing of animals and secure their role in enriching the human populated areas that they reside.
The initial focus for 1001 Paws is supporting Middle Eastern and North African countries where large scale, integrated and sustainable efforts are needed to help community animals (including stray and abandoned).
What information do we collect?

Use of photographs
When a photographer commissioned by 1001 Paws is present at any of our events, we may use the resulting images on this website and in publicity materials. Permission to use the images for promotional purposes is requested from the subjects (or their parents/care givers) at the time the photographs are taken. However, if you have a valid reason why an image should not be used, please contact us. You can request the removal of your image at any time by contacting us in which case we will endeavour to remove the image where possible. Instances where this might not be possible are on social media if the image has already been shared, or in marketing materials that have already been printed.

4) CONTRIBUTIONS AND MEMBERSHIP - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1001 Paws is a non-profit initiative of 1001 Foundation (referred to as us or we) which is registered in the United Kingdom. We operate the website www.1001paws.com (the Website).
These are the Terms and Conditions which govern each use you make of the contribution payment services provided through the Website.
These Terms and Conditions apply separately to each single financial contribution that you make. Except as provided for in section 5, âMonthly Contributionsâ, and unless specified by you, they do not form a contract allowing for future or successive transactions to be set up. By confirming on the Website that you wish to make a contribution you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions for that contribution.
(1) The Contribution
We will use your contribution at our discretion but within our stated objectives explained on the Website. All payments through the Website are to be made by payment card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Once you confirm to us through the Website that you wish to proceed with your contribution your transaction will be processed through our payment services provider, Stripe. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your contribution you authorise Stripe to request funds from your credit, debit, or card provider.
(2) Unauthorised card use
If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card or payment system, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider.
(3) Information from you
Before we can process a contribution you must provide us with (i) your name and email address; and (ii) details of the credit or debit card or Apple Pay or Google Pay, that you wish to use to fund the contribution. We will use this information to process your contribution. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information.
When you submit your details, these details will be transferred to our payment provider, Stripe, and your payment data will be collected and processed securely by them. You should make sure that you are aware of Stripeâs terms and conditions, which are different from our own, to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your personal data before you make a contribution.
We wonât share your personal details with any other third party other than is set out in our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Payment Terms and Conditions and by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you are also agreeing to the way we use and protect your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
(4) Refund policy
If you make an error in your contribution payment please Contact Us within 14 days and a full refund will be made to you.
(5) Monthly contributions
These Payment Terms and Conditions will only apply to successive contributions made through the Website where you have set up a monthly payment. When you set up a regular payment you will be scheduling a series of contributions to be made on the same day of the month until further notice. You agree that these Terms and Conditions will apply to each of the contribution in that series.
By confirming that you wish to proceed with a monthly contribution you authorise our payment service provider Stripe, to request funds from your credit or debit card on the same day of each month as the first contribution payment.

We reserve the right to amend these Payment Terms and Conditions at any time. These Payment Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.
